Year End Campout - June 20-21

our end of year camp out next week will be held Saturday 6/20 to Sunday 6/21. Our camp out will be at Hodges Damn in Oxford MA. The address is 30 Howarth Rd, Oxford, MA 01540.

We will be setting up our campsites starting at 10 AM. Please have scouts in activity shirts if possible. We will have leader showing where each family can put their sites.  We want to stay organized on where the tents go so we can have as much space to have room for more activities during the day.

Please do your best to be on time so we have as much time in the day to do activities.

·         Fishing

·         Rain Gutter regatta

·         Scavenger hunts

·         Service projects

·         Walking trails

·         Small games throughout the day

Families will need to pack their own Lunch for Saturday. We will have supplying Burgers and dogs for dinner. The sign up for what is needed for food is attached. There is enough sign ups for each scout to help bring in snacks for the day, things for Dinner and Breakfast. Please make sure to sign up for this’. Last year about 3 families signed up so we bought more food than needed and had TONS of leftovers.

** if you have a canopy and coolers that you can bring, please do so to help keep food and drinks cold.**

Below is a list of things you may want to pack for the camping trip:

·         Tents

·         Sleeping supplies (sleeping bags/blankets/pillow)

·         Clothes (dress for the weather)

·         Scouts full uniforms!!!

·         Bug spray

·         Sunscreen

·         Fishing supplies

·         Swim suite incase we can do a water activity (not swimming)

·         Reusable water bottles

·         Camping chair
